Add metrics to a surface to make them easier to find for experimenters experimenting on this surface, or enforce that all experiments on the surface check this metric for regressions by making it required.

Add a Metric to a Surface

Go to Surfaces

Go to Confidence and select Surfaces on the left sidebar.

Open Settings

Click on the Settings tab.

Add metric

Click on Add metric and select a metric to add.

Configure metric type

If you make the metric required, you have to specify which direction the metric should not move in. For an associated metric, the direction of the metric will be taken from the metric definition.
