Metric collections let you group related metrics into shared, team-visible lists. This guide covers creating collections, managing their contents, and configuring permissions.

Create a metric collection

Go to the Collections page

Go to Admin > Collections in the sidebar navigation.

Click Create

Select Create in the top right corner.

Enter collection details

Fill in the form:
  • Display name: A descriptive name for the collection (for example, “Q3 Launch Metrics”)
  • Description: Optional explanation of what this collection contains
  • Owner: The user or group that owns this collection

Save the collection

Click Create to save the collection.

Add or remove a metric from a collection

Open a metric detail page

Go to the metric you want to add or remove.

Open the Add to collection dialog

Select Add to collection in the page header.

Select collections

Search for collections by name and check the ones you want to add the metric to. Clear a collection to remove the metric from it.

Save changes

Click Save to apply your changes.
You can also remove a metric from within the collection page by clicking the delete icon next to the metric and confirming the removal.

Filter metrics by collection

The collection filter is available on the Metrics list page and in the metrics picker when adding metrics to an experiment.

Open the Metrics list or metrics picker

Go to the Metrics list page, or open the metrics picker when configuring an experiment.

Add a collection filter

Open the filter sidebar and select Collection from the filter options.

Select a collection

Search for and select the collection you want to filter by.

Edit a collection

Open the collection

Go to Admin > Collections and click the collection.

Edit details

In the sidebar, select edit in the About section to change the display name, description, or owner.

Save changes

Click Save to apply your changes.

Delete a collection

Open the collection

Go to Admin > Collections and click the collection.

Delete the collection

In the sidebar, click Delete and confirm the deletion.
Deleting a collection does not delete the metrics it contains. It only removes the grouping.

Go to Admin > Collections and click the collection.

Open permissions

Select Permissions in the page header.

Configure access

Add users or groups and assign their roles. Click Save to apply.
